Our family is not perfect. But we’re doing something right. 10 years together as a blended family and it’s pretty damn good.
I don’t have all the answers. But it’s not about perfection; it’s about progress.
Early on in our marriage, I wondered if we would make it. Second marriages end at a higher rate than first marriages. And I kept thinking I wanted a mentor family to help us.
So now as we enter into our 10th year of being married, I want to share our ups and downs, advice, wins, losses and whatever I can to help other blended families. We don’t always get it right. We haven’t arrived. But as we move down the path I’d like to leave some signposts along the way to help.
